Jennifer Norton, MSN, RN, NCSNManager of Informatics and TrainingJennifer has been a nurse for 28 years after starting her career as an EMT. Her nursing career has included emergency room and trauma care as well as over 15 years as a school nurse in rural, suburban, and urban settings. She has been very active in nursing education as a teaching assistant, research assistant, instructor, and clinical preceptor for several colleges and universities. Jennifer has been a longtime member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Nurses and Practitioners (PA SNAP) and NASN, as well as a Focus of the Framework national presenter. When Jennifer is not supporting School Nurses, you will most likely find her in her garden. |
Bonnie MacAdams, BSN, RN, NCSNSNAP EHR TrainerBonnie has been a registered nurse since 2012, with experience as a medical/surgical nurse, home health nurse, ENT/Allergy doctor’s office, camp nurse, and a school nurse of 5 years—including two years as a COVID Coordinator and Resource Nurse for a large urban district. Bonnie is a big Disney fan and loves to spend her free time visiting Disney World with her husband and four children, or taking her two dogs for walks on the beach. |
Kim Garrett, BSN, RN, LSN, NCSNNursing InformaticsKim has been a nurse for over 25 years. She has served in a variety of healthcare roles including Trauma Center Nurse, Senior Quality Consultant, Clinical Research Coordinator, and most recently for 8 years as the Director of Health Services and School Nurse for a PK – 12 school system. She has served as a mentor to several school nurses and as an energetic CPR trainer to many school and community members. Kim passionately pursues opportunities to improve care coordination and clinical outcomes for students and productivity and job satisfaction for school nurses. |
