SNAP Health Center includes the most comprehensive set of standard features available in any school health software system.
All the following features are included with the purchase of either the Records or Modular software: Express, Reports, Billing, Scheduler,
Form Letters and Labels, Group Processing, Libraries and Promote. Each of these powerful tools aides the school nurse in keeping accurate, organized
and accessible student medical records and health care documentation.
Student Data Import
Express is an import program that imports already existing student data from your school’s administrative system into SNAP Health Center. Express saves valuable time by virtually eliminating manual data entry of student data. Express’s import process is compatible with almost all administrative software packages to ensure a smooth and accurate import.
Reports
The Report generator is capable of producing 100’s of medical related reports. This sophisticated tool organizes, filters and analyzes results based on nurse, district and state needs. All Reports are completely customizable to help quickly retrieve the exact data needed. Generate statistical and student specific Reports on virtually any topic or category in SNAP Health Center including, health alerts, year end analysis, screening results, contacts, Health Records and much, much more.
Flow Charts
SNAP Health Center is the first school nurse software program to include a graphical flow chart tool to record peak expiratory flow rates and blood pressure charting. Not only does it document and graph but it integrates with the medication charting to record, on the chart, any medications taken that day.
Billing
The billing tool in SNAP Health Center accurately tracks billable time and helps create bills to submit to Medicaid, private or 3rd party billing companies for services rendered. Individual user preferences as well as unique state billing requirements are fully customizable. SNAP billing is seamlessly integrated with both the Visit Log and Medication administration. Secure claim reports significantly reduce the time-consuming tasks involved when tracking reimbursable services.
Appointments
The appointment scheduler provides a helpful way to keep important responsibilities such as scheduled meetings, activities and follow-ups organized. A handy to-do list also keeps chores and tasks neatly ordered.
Form Letters & Labels
Customizable templates help quickly and easily generate form letters and labels. Student specific information is automatically inserted into the form, which enables you to print entire batches of form letters/labels in just minutes. All templates are customizable and include spell-checking features.
Group Processing
The group processing eliminates repetitive tasks, redundant data entry and printing. Since common data is applied to multiple student records all at once, documentation time drastically decreases while accuracy increases.
Libraries
SNAP Libraries include vast medical item lists to aide in consistent and accurate documentation. Used throughout the program, these lists allow quick and efficient documentation. These 100% customizable Library lists also promote more reliable reporting.
Year End
The year-end Promote process enables you to move, organize and update records quickly and easily. Promote “cleans up” the current SNAP database and prepares it for documentation in the new school year. This process allows student records to be easily transferred to a new location via an external media source or directly through the network. Current records are quickly updated and new student information is brought into the current year database.
