Superstar Nurse Nomination: Sandra McCarthy It is with great pride and gratitude that we nominate Sandra, our school nurse, as a Superstar Nurse. Sandra exemplifies what it means to provide compassionate and thoughtful care to every student and staff member she encounters. Sandra is the heart of our school’s wellness efforts. Her kindness and compassion are unmatched, whether she’s comforting a sick child, guiding a family through a health concern, or supporting a colleague in need. She consistently goes the extra mile, often giving of her own time to ensure that no one is left without care or support. What sets Sandra apart is her dedication and her proactive approach to school health. She is always thinking ahead, preparing for the unexpected, and implementing practices that keep our community safe and thriving. Her commitment to going above and beyond is felt daily, and she does it all with a calm presence and a warm smile. Sandra is more than our nurse—she’s a trusted advocate, a caring listener, and a true superstar. We are so fortunate to have her, and we can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.
