Heather, for all intents and purposes, is a solo act at our school. She is the only health care professional working with our student's day in and day out. And as a school that services typically marginalized students she works tirelessly with families and providers to get the appropriate paperwork from their providers. On top of running the daily nursing needs of the school she also manages the paperwork end of things, including large health-based grants. She is able to juggle all this and stay positive in the process. Heather is a wonderful team member, and we appreciate her devotion to our students.
