I nominate Janessa Deal due to her unwavering commitment to the students and school health. She is the hardest-working school nurse I have ever met and will put in the extra time and research to help ensure student and staff needs are met. She is highly motivated, fun, and a true professional. She takes additional time to help educate teachers and staff and attends regular webinar sessions to stay current. She continues her education to help support students with psychological disorders. She continually improves documentation, processes, and organization of the health office. She not only is compassionate but also motivates others to improve and is an exemplary school nurse.
