Donna Sousa is a SUPER STAR school nurse! Donna comes to school every day with a positive attitude and a warm, welcoming smile. More often than not, her day begins the moment she steps into her office, whether it be a student in need of care, a new registration, or other responsibilities. No matter the situation, Donna responds with compassion, kindness, and attentiveness. She takes the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and ensure each student feels heard and supported. Always keeping the student’s well-being and academic success in mind, she collaborates seamlessly with administrators and counselors to provide the best possible care. Donna has built a strong rapport with teachers and staff, sharing vital health information, care plans, and updates to support the unique needs of every student. Her years of dedicated service to the Johnston School Department and deep familiarity with the Johnston High School building make her an invaluable resource, especially in emergencies.
