I would like to nominate Ellen Serafin as an amazing Superstar School Nurse! Ellen has worked at Doctor Franklin Perkins School for over 25 years, and I was lucky enough to work with her for 10 of those years. Ellen is an excellent School Nurse with a big heart and shows empathy and compassion towards all staff, students, and families. Ellen cares for children and adults with significant social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. Her job can be challenging, but Ellen is passionate in her care as a School Nurse and goes above and beyond to keep her school community safe and healthy. She truly cares about people and is passionate in what she does. Ellen deserves recognition as an exception School Nurse! She is loved by many of the children she cares for and truly makes a positive impact for those she serves.
