This woman, who I am pleased to call my mom, is truly one of the best nurses and people I have ever met. She has worked relentlessly for the school district, and has given everything she has for the safety and well-being of the kids that she cares for. While I get to work with her as a CNA ever other week, the majority of the time she is by herself. She sees around 50-60 kids a day, which she has to do ALONE. Documenting, seeing kids, taking care of diabetics, and doing medications is not something that should be done without help. But she does. My mom is a safe space for so many students, and provides the best amount of care she possibly can. Student love her, teachers love her, and parents love her. There are so many more amazing characteristics that I could share about my mom, but she is a super strong, kind, and caring person, and I aspire to be like her as a nurse.
