Elana works tirelessly to meet the health and wellness needs of her school community, often finding innovative ways to improve student health services. She partners with various organizations to provide vision and dental services to students; she is constantly looking for professional development opportunities to improve her nursing practice; and she advocates for the health care needs of her students. In addition to all of this she still finds time to mentor nursing students and nurses new to school nursing. Elana is truly a super start school nurse!
