Nurse Frank is new to us, and to school nursing, this year. He has transitioned into this role after serving as a one-on-one for a student at another school in the district. In all honesty, Frank has taken on the responsibilities of running the health office quite amazingly. The office is well organized and well stocked. Frank is very efficient in responding to all nursing needs and is diligent about record keeping. He communicates very clearly with the appropriate parties (teachers, parents, administration) as needed. Frank also effectively uses the support of a campus assistant who is also our first line of back-up in the nurse's absence. Additionally, Frank has been positively embraced by students and staff members alike, and he is greatly appreciated.
