Amy is the Health Services Coordinator for our school nurses at CGCSC, and she is the superstar that keeps the system and all of us running! She leads with gentle authority, is always looking to find ways to work through any concerns we have, and utilizes her sense of humor to encourage us. She is always supportive, providing availability through our resource pool or joining in herself if needed. She keeps us current on changes and motivates us to do our best. As an individual, she has undergone extra training to receive her Certification in School Nursing. She collaborates with other school districts and her supervisors for improvements and solutions as well as to share ideas. She is student focused and reminds us to keep that perspective as we strive to maintain health and safety in the educational environment. I feel she makes all of the nurses around her better by her presence.
